The first day of summer break we Celebrated!! We spent the day together! We headed down to Amish Country and getting lost along the way we made it to Rolling Ridge Ranch!
We were able to ride on a big buggy pulled by two horses for a two mile- one hour ride to see many different animals! We also were able to feed and pet many of them!
We have been here before, but the children did not remember going!
This is a Zonkey- or a Donkey with striped socks!!!
A camel named Humphrey!
Peyton and Jenna were able to have a turn and help drive the wagon!!! They loved it and felt so important!
Lot's of baby animals- baby deer, piglets, zebra, llama's, elk, ducks, and more!
I have been able to come with the kids a few times and it never gets old- We had a great time and I cannot wait to go again! (Minus getting lost!)
Then that evening we went out to dinner at Friendly's to celebrate the end of the school year and the kid's hard work!! They each had come home with a certificate and a coupon for a free meal and ice cream!!
The ice cream tradition was started to celebrate every time I got good grades and now the children like going to celebrate their hard work and (good grades!)
It was a very good day and good way to start summer break!!!
