It's begining to look a lot like Christmas...

 I was blessed the week before Christmas to go to the Temple!

I love being there.  What a great experience to feel God's love and feel so close to him this season!

I have had some great spiritual experiences recently feeling his love and peace so strongly!

 Great Blessings come from our struggles and sufferings!!  I am so thankful for my Savior and for the Atonement!  My ways are not his ways- but his ways bring such love, peace, and great blessings!!

 My cute kids! The day I went to the Temple they got to go see Beauty and the Beast with their Dad, CJ & Mindy.  They had a wonderful time!!

 My kids are loved seeing Santa Claus and have learned who Santa is and what he stands for! 

It is nice how he took time with them and even sang a Christmas Carol with them.

Christmas time holds MAGIC especially with Children!

 We went Ice Skating and had a great time at Lock 3!

Christmas Eve we had a great time together and with some of our cousins!

We went to Build a Bear- it was one of their Christmas Gifts!

Tis the Season...

We loved looking at all the beautiful decorated Christmas trees-

 At Chicfila they had free breakfast for those who wore their pajamas!

We had a great time- and yes my kids are wearing their halloween jammies!!!

 It was a great community event!

I love Christmas time- setting up our tree, christmas shopping, christmas crafts, christmas carols, parties, and all the activities!!  It is a time for family, friends, and the coming together of the community!!!

Last night I truly felt the spirit of Christmas at our Ward Devotional!!  Beautiful music and Amazing talent!  I wish I could have taken pictures!!!  And my favorite song was sung- O Holy Night! 

I am truly thankful for the birth of my savior!  And thankful for this season!!!

Thanksgiving

I think Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!  I love the food, being with family, and pondering all that we have instead of all that we want!!  This year I have so much to be thankful for!

I am Thankful for:

 For a place to live, good food, and my two wonderful children!

 For my family- my supportive parents, and for my three younger sisters that I look up to and lean on!

I also am so thankful for my brother-in-laws, and my fun nieces and nephews!!!

And that we are not so far away from each other- for times like this we can be together even just for a day!

 And for the Gospel in my life!!!

It truly is everything to me!

I am thankful for Jenna's wonderful choice to be baptized!  For her sweet testimony and great example!

Her baptism was lovely, with so many that came to support her that there was standing room only!

I am also thankful for all those in her life that surround her and peyton with love!!!

She had some wonderful priesthood that surrounded her on this day- we could not have asked for more!

Tae Kwon Do

Peyton started with an after school activity taking Tae Kwon Do!  He loves it, especially after they had him break a board with his fist!!!!  We have signed him up!  He is doing really well and has earned his first stripe!  He is learning self control, how to focus, he releases a lot of energy, has great male role models, and is even learning some words in Korean!!!

He also looks great in his uniform! :)
