Summer Haircuts!

Thursday afternoon, our good friends and us took a quick trip to Hudson to a kids haircut studio called Snipits! It is a fun place! Not only do they give great kid haircuts and the whole place is kid friendly but, they do birthday parties, make-up, paint nails, and so on!! A little girls dream! My friend and I are talking about taking our girls back for their birthdays which are really close together!! I loved the afternoon and love their haircuts!! (I think my kids really do look like twins- they get asked constantly now!)
On the way home we hit a terrible storm. Made it home safely. But, it did not spoil our great day!!! I just can not get over how grown-up my kids are. They are not babies or toddlers any more!! Crazy!!!

The Family Pet!

Meet Newton our pet Newt, aka Newtie! I know we are very original!

We inherited Newtie, and love him. He is a perfect pet! He plays and is very friendly without shedding, biting, tearing up things, and I only have to clean his cage once a month!! Very ideal!

Happy Birthday Peyton!!

My sweet little baby boy is growing up so fast!
The last five years has seemed to go by in a blink of an eye!

Peyton gets up early every morning so when I awoke at 7:30 and he wasn't yet up I was delighted. I ran down stairs and started making breakfast. I heard him stir and then call my name. I called from downstairs for him to go back to his room. He listened, and was playing with his new playmobil. I brought him breakfast and he just grinned from ear to ear. Jumped back in bed and ate it all up!!
We had the whole day planned. It went pretty close to it. We got up and dressed and then ran over to the church to clean. Both kids were a big help. Came home and did some work around the house. (We were going to go swimming but, the weather wasn't cooperating.) Ate lunch and then went to Peyton's t-ball game. He played great!! He got to hand out snack: little debbie cakes, blue kool-aid, and some baseball silly bands!!! The whole team sang Happy Birthday to him! We then went to the Mall with his Dad, (Melissa met up with us later), Melissa's mom and sister.
He got to go to build a bear and get his dog roller skates. He was so excited!

We then all went out to dinner together at TGI Fridays! Peyton received more presents including a playmobil dragon and a bed for his dog, pup. (see above photo)

Lastly he got to go to Toys R Us and pick out one last toy with a gift card. And of course pickedout more playmobil.

Peyton is smart, funny, sweet, imaginative, and full of life. I am so thankful for him!
Happy Birthday, Peyton!!!!
Love you!!!!

Peyton's Birthday Party!!

For Peyton's 5th Birthday he wanted to go visit a police station and see a police car, a police gun, and where the bad guys go! I called over to the Copley Police Station and they set up a tour for us! It was so great!! We all loved it!

Officer Scott who is gave us the grand tour! He did a great job!

This is the dispatch area! We got lots of safety tips!
Wanted:
the cutest 5 year old ever!!

Peyton's mug shot!

They also fingerprinted him!

Ethan got to be arrested. The boys loved it, maybe too much!!

The boys sitting in a "holding cell" since copley doesn't have an acutal Jail.

I love this!!
We did let him out!

All the boys sitting in the drunk tank!
We gave them the lecture about making good choices!!

Three best friends! They all went to preschool together!

Peyton was handcuffed!!
Should have left him when I had a chance! J/K!

The boys loved seeing a real police car up and personal!

Bye, Boys!
and those seats are not comfy!

They turned on the sirens and let the boys hear each of the different ones!

Laura and I made the cake using fondant! Five hours later this is what we got! She keeps practicing... I admire those with the talent but, am willing to pay laura next time to do it on her own!!! The fondant is made from scratch!!

My little boy is growing up!!!

Priceless... and worth the hassel!!

Ready for Presents!!!!!!!

He really wanted Playmobil!

You know you have done well by the expression on the face!!!

Happy Birthday, Peyton!!!

Earthly Angels

So today was crazy! I went to leave the house and my car wouldn't start. The kids and I were lucky enough to be able to take the truck to run to wal-mart. I was running in to grab a few things for Peyton's party this week. The kids were looking at something and I called to them as I headed to grab what I needed. I turned around and they weren't with me. I went to the end cap where I last saw them and they weren't there. I frantically call out for them and start looking and they were no where that I could see. I run to customer service and get help. The call a "Code Adam" alerting all the workers and mangers. What seemed to be like forever and what was probably only five minutes, the kids were found and brought to me.

Jenna and Peyton had stuck together but, had gone looking for me. They knew I needed stuff to make the cake so headed to find the cake section and couldn't find it. They followed a woman around with three kids (I had told them that if they ever get lost ask a mom with kids for help) They couldn't get her attention and started just walking around until a lady asked if they were lost! She found an employee who then brought them to me. I did explain to Jenna next time to stay put and I would find her. She said, "that was the one thing I did not know to do!" They were quite funny as they explained there side. Jenna is a planner and started planning how she would take care of Peyton and get him home and live with out me. I let her know I would never shop or leave with out them- EVER! I think she was a little relieved but, still wanted a plan. We talked about how she has all the info of her name, phone #, and address for emergencies and police officers and store workers are there to help. But, I still will never leave them!!!!!

The day seemed to just stay crazy but, ended with Family Home Evening and going out for Ice Cream!! I am just thankful the day is over and my car is running again thanks to Matt Eager!!! Luckily it was just the battery!!! I am thankful for Heavenly and Earthly Angels that seem to watch over me and my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenna's last day of School

The whole day was a party! They had inflatables at the school for the kids to jump and play in. In the class there was an ice cream party, face painting, writing in autograph books and playing heads up 7 up. It was a really fun day!!

Jenna loved school! She had a great year with a great teacher and great friends! We hope Peyton gets the same teacher as her for this year.
Jenna says she is excited for summer so she can sleep in! Friday she slept in till 9:00 since she can't usually do that! And this weekend has been busy so hopefully she can do it again next week!!

Jenna and Cassie!
