Fun Run

Saturday Morning we went with the Ford's- Jessie, Will, Jake, and Naomi, to down town Akron for their Fun Run. It is a 1K for all ages of kids to run! The kids were so excited about the race, the morning of I told the kids to get on t-shirts, and comfy shorts. Peyton comes in and asks me if the shirt he is holding is a "team" shirt. He picked out a shirt with numbers on it and wore it to the race so he could be part of the team. We got down there and they got a t-shirt when we registered which really made Peyton happy because he was officially part of the team. When they finished they received a metal, and a goodie bag. Jenna did awesome and ran the whole time and finished quickly. Me and Peyton slowed her down. She still tells everyone she won! She is my runner! Next year I hope to run in the relay, down town! It was a great event and we are planning on it for sure next year!

Hanging out with the Arnold's

Our good friends the Arnold's came over last friday night! Jenna and Ali have been good friends since they moved to Canton. The fun part is how Tyler and Malia the older kids also feel our friendship. I love them and have had the chance to be Tyler's Primary teacher but, since then Tyler has been a good example and good friend to Peyton. He looks up to Tyler and talks about him all the time. The girls feel the same way about Malia. The kids wanted to come over to see where Jenna and Peyton now live so we had a barbeque! What a great evening- between playing on the rope swing, picking raspberries, and eating a great dinner! It is so fun to have true friends! I can't leave out Lillianne. She is my sweet little girl and calls me Ju-Ju. Oh, and I love you too, Laurel, you are one of my dearest friends! Thank you!

Errand of Angels

The first week I was officially in the ward I had a visiting teaching route, a calling as Enrichment Leader, and was given a speaking assignment for sacrament meeting. That is what happens when you move in with the Relief Society President as well as move into a ward with a Bishop that already knows you. The Bishop taught me in Sunday School when I was a youth.

Well, I was excited to be over enrichment. I had lots of Ideas and work with amazing women! The night was Sept. 18th. Our Enrichment was on Relief or Service and our theme became the Errand of Angels. The night came together and turned out beautifully. I am really enjoying living in the Akron Ward and becoming part of their family. I have instant friends and so much Support! Thank you everybody!!! The picture is of our little favor that was passed out and carried hershey kisses in it. None of it was my doing. I had so much help!!! Thank You!!!!!

My Parents

I have to put a post about my parents. On Sept. 15th my parents celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary. Considering my own situation, I have to say 30 years is a big deal. I am just so thankful for my parents and their commitment to each other and their commitment to all of us kids. Recently they have done so much for me: their love, support, tears, and time! I know it is not easy living with me and the kids and they are so gracious and wonderful! I love you guys!! Happy Anniversary!

Peyton's first day of Preschool

Peyton is my goofy kid!
Jenna poses for the pics and Peyton hides or runs away!!!
I can't believe he is old enough for preschool!
The whole time I was waiting and kept wondering
how and what he was doing. He had jumped out of the
car with no hesitation and ran into the car to tell me
how much fun he had! I think this will be a good year for him!

My babies growing up

My babies are growing up first Jenna goes off to school and then Peyton. Peyton was a last minute decision. After a lot of thinking and praying I realized both he and I needed him in Preschool. He was so excited to go. When I told him that I was sad that my babies are growing up and leaving me he told me, "Mom, I love you and I will come back."
Peyton goes tues and thurs where jenna goes mon, wed, and fri. So they have assured me I won't be alone and so I should be o.k. I love being there mom it brings me so much joy! Peyton was ready to go even without all the pre planning. He had his school shoes, his back pack, cute clothes, and even a haircut. None of it being planned that he was going to go! Now, that made me feel like I was on top of it for a change!!!!!!

Jenna's first day of Preschool

I can not believe that she is off to Preschool!
I am excited that she is growing up and
sad all at the same time!

End of Summer

The end of summer means raspberries and I mean by the bowl full! It is fun for the whole family to be outside eating and picking fresh raspberries! They taste great by themselves or in fruit salad or on our favorite dessert, Ice Cream!!!

Our Camping Trip to Ohio Pyle, PA

We went camping with my parents, Matt, Laura, and David! We had a lot of fun and many adventures! The kids did really well! They loved camping: swimming, hiking, smores, and even sleeping in tents. Peyton ate too many marshmellows, sweets, pop, and etc. And got sick!! He threw up everywhere on Friday Night including on his favorite spiderman sweatshirt and his "Brrr" or his blanket. We cleaned up and put it in a bag and set it out side our tent. The next day we were cleaning up and I asked where the bag was and my mom realized she took it with the trash and dumped it in the dumpster. She could not find it so she had to get in the dumpster to get it!!!! We did find it and pretty easily! That with the rain and all the little boo boos, and no sleep we were ready to go home!
Here are pics of the great moments we had!!!
This is Jenna and Peyton playing at the falls!

These were natural water slides- They were so cool!
Peyton was a little nervous at first but, then announced
he wasn't scared at all- and just kept going on it.
Jenna was the first to do it!
This is Peyton before getting sick!

Our Spider Man Party

We went over to Will and Jakes house for a spider man party. We did not get a pic but, we had 3 spider mans and one mermaid!
We had such a great time where we decorated and ate cake, made an art project and ran around their house causing chaos!
What fun!!
They are our new best friends! Jenna even painted the babies fingers and toes! Good Times! We hope we are invited back soon!

Good Ol Summer Time

We love the Summer Time! And what a great summer it has
been! We have had fun with friends, going on hikes, days at
the lake, and lots of time with Family! We are so thankful
for all the many blessings we have especially each other!
The kids keep me bust and focused on whats important!!!
