Jack our Jack O'Latern

For FHE we carved pumpkins and ate pumpkin cookies! It was such a fun night! It was actually the night before my moms surgery so a little over a week ago. My dad drew faces so the kids could choose which one they wanted and they chose the scary one! Jenna did a good job pulling the seeds out, Peyton didn't want to get dirty! And at the end we found a candle to put in it! His name is Jack the Jack O'Lantern. Jack sits outside and scares away all the bad guys!

Cinderella

Since I have moved into my moms home of course I have been helping with the housework, the cooking, and anything else I am asked to do. One night when becky was visiting every time I sat down I was asked to get something or do something from someone and I said Oh, sure since I am Cinderella! Well, it has stuck. My new nickname is Cinderella. My dad even introduces is me as Cinderella to people. I liked it and thought it was funny.

It has been different to now be a single mom living back at my parents house and at times a little hard. I think the hard part is more the idea of it then actually living there. I have always loved being a mom and glad that I have been able to be a stay-at-home mom. It has been a little awkward to stay-at-home and live at my parents when I feel like I should be working and be more independent. I was thinking one day about being Cinderella and feeling like it is my new job title, then I realized how blessed I am to be Cinderella. I have the opportunity to serve my children and be home with them even though I am a single mom. It is because of my parents that I have this opportunity and the opportunity to go back to school. I love being able to serve them by cleaning, making the meals and helping them out any way I can.

When we were in Pittsburgh I guess my Dad had come home one night to my mom upstairs on the computer and there was no dinner made and dishes weren't done and he said to my mom, "Well, you can tell Cinderella's not here." When my mom told me that I said, Oh, that means he missed me. I love that they like having me there and that I am not too much of a burden. It brings me joy to beable to serve my mom after her recent foot surgery. I enjoy taking care of the house hold and to be a full time mom. I am also so excited to go to school in January.

(Now, I am not perfect at being Cinderella.) My parents and I all work together. There are plenty of times my mom makes a meal or cleans the house, and my dad will do dishes. It has been a great set-up as we work together and help each other. I am also thankful for the ward and all there help with taking care of my mom. It has been amazing how the ward is also my family and supports me and has just pulled me in!!! Thank you! Thank you!!

Pittsburgh

Last weekend we went to Pittsburgh to visit Laura and had such a great time! On Friday we went to the Children's Museum and Saturday we did the Zoo Boo at the Pittsburgh Zoo. Our friends from our ward in Akron; Stacey, Emma, Brady, and Ellie joined us on Friday and Saturday! We had the best time between the great activities or hanging out with Laura and David! David is two and is so much fun! I think he may have been a little excited when we went home and he didn't have to share anymore! Can't wait to visit again!

I need HELP!

I have a dilemma, I know this is such a girl thing but I am interested in your opinion. O.K. are you ready? It is over my hair! I am tired of it, I need something new and cute. Now I do keep getting compliments on it and yet I am just tired of it. So I need your opinion. I did dye it darker and it has already started to fade, the blond is coming back. So do I leave the color, put more highlights in it, or go darker? If I go dark do I go brown or more red? (Can you tell a difference from the pic above and the pic to the side?) It's O.K. only a few have noticed!

Now for length: Should I go short or keep it long? I have been told an A-line would be cute, I am wonderin? Should I have bangs?

I need your opinion? Vote on the side! I just want to see what you think! Thanks everyone! Love you!

October Heat

This was yesterday! October 13th and we are washing cars and playing in the water! It was 76 degrees yesterday as the high and we got hot! Of course I dressed my kids in long pants thinking it would be a little cool- but, not till a lot later! We love the sunshine and warm temps!!!

The Dress Lola made!

Lola made Jenna this sweet fall dress! It is a red corduroy dress with yellow sunflowers on it with a matching purse! It is soo cute especially with it's little flowered buttons! I love it so much I am disappointed I don't have a matching dress! J/K! Today I made a cute bow to match and it even has a little yellow flower on it that matches the buttons from her dress! I know it is just too much! Thank you Lola!!!

I love to See the Temple

Today I got to go to the Temple as part of a Stake Temple Day of Service! It was special since 7 years ago today I got to enter the temple for the first time. I love the Temple, how I feel when I am there, the experiences I have when I am there, and the work that I am doing. I am thankful that I am sealed to my children and that all those blessings are mine. I did have a special experience today and am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for Temples, and for all my wonderful blessings!! This is a picture of the Columbus Temple today! It was 72 degrees out and just a perfect day!
