Cedar Point

We got the chance to go to Cedar Point last Friday. My Dad's company party was there and we tagged along! We had a great time.

The kids were so excited to go on roller coasters now that they are taller. Well, Peyton has reached 48 inches but, Jenna missed it by 1/2 an inch. Boy, was she mad!! Especially that her younger brother has passed her up!!

Luckily, there were still plenty of rides she could go on!!

We got really lucky that our good friends could join us! Jenna's best friend from school, Emily and her parents have season passes so it was easy for them to come up for an afternoon and hang!! We were so glad they did- I got many more pictures of the kids because of them as well!!!

It was a really hot, and really fantastic day!!!

Emily, Jenna, and Peyton

Jenna is a poser!! She was dancing before this picture was taken!! She is a riot!

We went on the rapid ride a couple of times and got drenched!! So the rest of the pictures are a little scary especially if I am in them!!! It felt over a 100 because of humidity that day!!!

This is a favorite!

Me and my Buddy!

We went on Iron Dragon and the kids loved it!!!

How fun is this shot!!

Priceless!

Utah week 1

We went to Utah for two weeks and had the best time!! I took over 200 pics!! We did many fun things, saw lots of extended family, and many good friends!! The best way I new how to post all of it was by posting our Itinerary!!!! So skim through it or just look at pics- whatever but, here it all is!!!!

Tuesday July 6th- Starting our Journey!

We left Cleveland at 5:20 pm and were suppose to be arriving in SLC at 9:40 pm with a stop in Chicago. We got stuck in Chicago and did not arrive till 11:45 pm and we were all exhausted. I was out numbered 4:1 and all four had fallen asleep by the time we got to SLC. Luckily Southwest who had been amazing the whole trip allowed the Grandma to Brady and Emma to meet me at the gate. With help we made it through and were so excited to be in Utah and start our Vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the 4 crazy kids as we are stuck in Chicago!! Making the best of it!!
Wednesday July 7th- Day of Rest, and Friends at the Park
I am so lucky to have kept in touch with so many friends from Highschool and right after. I feel so blessed that when we go to Utah there is so many people to see!! It started as soon as I got there. MaryKaye and Amber I may have known the longest. MaryKaye remembers when I was the new kid in the 6th grade. Amber moved a little later joining us in Middle School. They are dear friends. We don't see each other often but when we are together it is like no time has passed. I have gained a lot from them over the years!!!

Me, Amber, and Mary Kaye

Saturday July 10th- I got pampered!!!
My aunt is at Cosmetology school so she did a pedicure on my grandma and me while my Aunt Debbie babysat the kids!! Then we grabbed lunch at In-n-out! After a nap Diane came up so we could go to IKEA where we looked around and ate dinner- yummy Swedish meatballs! Then we went to the Sweet Tooth Fairy for Cupcakes- more Yummy! Then that night the kids and I went with my Aunt and her grandson, Kobin to Toy Story 3! What a wonderful Day!!!

Sunday July 11th- went to DiDi's for church then a family reunion with the Meyers (my Mom's side of the fam!) at my Uncle Rick's Cabin.
This was fun! He has a very nice and modern cabin set up in the mountains with a stream going through his yard. There was nothing I could do to keep the kids out of it!
I loved seeing so many aunts, uncles, and cousins with their families. Not everyone could make it and there is a lot of us!! I was thankful to see the ones that could and hope that I can see the others soon!!!!

Thursday July 15th- Ogden Train Station and Downtown SLC!
We toured an old train station and saw some old trains. It was really neat. We then rode a new train downtown SLC and walked around temple square. We ate lunch, toured the visitor centers, played in the fountains, and saw the Temple. It was a wonderful experience with my kids and my best friend and her family. One I will never forget!!

These horses were all over town and decorated each differently. The kids loved them and wanted a picture with it!!

These trains were amazing and the kids were allowed to climb all over them!!

Friday July 16th- I turned 31!!
I had a wonderful day spent with my bestest friend. We went shopping!!! Went to Eclipse- Yea! and out to lunch!!! Her wonderful Husband stayed home with the four kids! Later us adults played a game together and had a good time!!
It was truly a dream to spend this day with her. Karen is my female soul mate. We are very different and in many ways very similar. I just know that going through life I need her!!!! And am very thankful for her!! We have been through a lot together and it was so fun to spend 5 days with her enjoying life, each other, and our children.
