Cedar Point

We had the opportunity to go to Cedar Point last Friday with my parents- for my Dad's work party!  The kids love it and it was fun to have friends there!  A close family from church the dad is working with my dad right now and so they were there in the begining of the day!  And then another close family met us there in the evening!!!!  The lucky part was that the thunder storms came in the middle- between 3 and 6 pm!  During the storms we went to Snoopy on ice and also did a few water rides since we were getting wet anyways!!  It was an adventure to say the least!  And it was a blast!!!  It is fun now where the kids are old enough to enjoy it!!  Both Jenna and Peyton went on their first upside down roller coaster ride!!  Peyton led the way and wanted to go first and then Jenna after a lot of pondering decided to join him!!!  I did not go!!!  The kids went with our friends and their daughter sat out with me!!!!!!!!!!  It was a match made in heaven!!!

Can not wait to go again!!  Next year Peyton wants to ride on the Dragster- hope I am up to it!!!!!

Turning 32!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Saturday, I turned 32!  I wasn't sad or depressed- actually I love birthdays!!  Mine or others!  I love celebrating life!  Well, saturday was a celebration!  I had a wonderful day full of my favorite things.  None of the pictures are in any order!!

I hung out with my children, ate Chipotle, someone brought over a lemon cake, went out to dinner with my mom and my sisters- ate steak!  The best part was not to cook or clean up!

And then Didi and I went to Harry Potter- I loved it!

It was just a wonderful day!!!

 

 At the resturant a guy making balloons went around and made this hat for me- At the top in a heart it says Happy Birthday on one side and 29 on the other!!  He He He!

Short term goals: Take the kids to Cedar Point, Run a 5k race, more organizing and sorting around the house, read my scriptures daily, and be a better visiting teacher!
Long term goals: finish my bachelors, start my masters!  Pay off my car- hopefully sooner than later!  And take the kids to Disney World!

I love life- the experiences, the adventures, the challenges, and I will even take the trials!  Another great year!  I am happy, healthy, and looking forward to another great year and what might be awaiting!!!

Addy

 Addy has been staying with us while Diane and Cory are moving from Utah to Pittsburgh.

We are so excited that they will be so much closer!!

And we have loved having her with us!!

 I forgot how much work a two year old is!

And how busy and stubborn they can be!!

I also forgot how cute they are!!!!!!!!

Still I think my mom and I will hand her over willingly back to her parents!



4th of July Weekend!!!!

 This summer I am working at a preschool on campus at the University of Akron.

We had a little parade on Friday and my family came to support me!

We had such a great time- I loved sharing it with them!!

Right now we have one toddler room- 21 months to 3 years old

We have three preschool rooms, I teach in the Pre-K room

And a school age room- my kids are in that room!

 Of course there were Fireworks!!

It was a great time with great friends!

 On Monday we spent the whole day at Loyal Oak Lake!

We had family and friends there- it was wonderful!!

 We ended the day with a Parade in Fairlawn!!

The perk of the parade were the Treats!!!
