Summer Catch Up!!

Cleveland Zoo with David and Meagan!

 We fed the seals and sea lions!

 The Polar Bear was very animated!!

 The boys planning what we were to do next!

 Got to have a cold treat on a hot day!

 The new elephant exhibit is open and really cool!

And Meagan was so cute on the way home!!

We went to the beach a couple days!!

We have had a great summer!!

And cannot believe- school has started and summer is almost over!!

Right in our very own backyard.....

 One of the blessings of living with my parents is thier backyard!! We love it!  These pictures are a collection from all summer!  We have had so much fun just being right in our own back yard!

 We found this nest with eggs, nestled in a bush! I didn't get pictures of the baby birds- it was a neat experience to watch the mother bird take care of her young!

We have deer that cross our yard often, but don't typically get pictures!!

They are so beautiful!!! 

 Peyton and Skipper found a large stick and carved it to make it a spear!  He was so proud of it!!  Jenna in her jammies put flowers in her ears and wanted to pose!!  They sure are grwoing up fast!

 I think this butterfly may have been injured.  The kids loved that it didn't fly away from them!  We ended up putting it on a flower and later it was gone so hopefully it flew away!!  A very pretty butterfly and the kids loved the experience!!!!

 My favorite part of summer is roasting marshmellows over a fire!!!  We sure had a great time on family home evening!!  It was really hot, though and the mosquitos were out to get us!!!!

My kids just love to be in the back yard!  When they can they are out there playing!!

I love being on the porch and looking out!! 

Our favorite spot is the frog pond!!  I didn't get any pictures of the many frogs this pond houses!!  The kids love to find and catch the frogs around the pond!! And sure is pretty!

Last Week Catch up!!!!

 My mom's birthday was last week!!!  I don't think I can tell her enough how thankful I am for her!!!

Happy Birthday Mom, We Love You!!!!!

We had a busy day last Saturday!  We started our morning off with a ward service project- Paint your Heart Out!!  We had a great time being with good friends and helping a family with painting their home!!  We hope to do this next year, too!!!  The kids did a good job of participating without causing too much trouble!!!

Then that afternoon/ evening we went to Canton with friends of ours for the balloon festival!  We had a wonderful time!!  We love doing this every year!!!

 A lot of people were there- but, still had a great time!!!!

These were my favorite balloons- two bees!  I could not get a good pic of them, but they are really cute!!

 I love this picture!!  The sky was amazing- I just kept staring for I did not want to look away!!!  I wish pictures could really capture the full experience!!!

 They have a kid area that you pay to get into and the kids can do rides, games, and activities!  It was a good time!! I like seeing them become so adventurous!!!

Then it ended with Fireworks- a great ending to a wonderful day!!!

I cannot believe how faster summer is going!!  We have enjoyed every minute of it!!!!
