Peyton

The letter of the week at Preschool was, "O". So last Wednesday they had Preschool "Olympics"
Peyton was so excited about it and of course has brought up conversations about the Olympics. I am not really into the Olympics nor do I have any time right now to watch them. But, my mom has recorded some of it for my kids to watch and they love it!!! Peyton especially!! He now wants me to take him Skiing!!!

Well, back to the Preschool Olympics- Peyton was picked to carry the Torch! Boy, was he proud!! They did somersaults, walked across a board, and threw bean bags in hula hoops. Peyton did great!! He was excited to get a gold medal but disappointed everyone got one. Later he said to me, "I guess it is good we all got gold medals so no one would be sad if they didn't. So why at the real Olympics is there only three given out? Is that fair? I bet many are sad when they don't win!" Wow, what a boy!!!!

Jenna

Jenna made this necklace for 100 day to be apart of their Museum at School. She was very proud of it and it was a lot of fun!! She has now been in school for over 100 days!!!!!!!!

Jenna is having a great year and has had many great experiences!! This week they Grandparents day and Lola and Granbob were able to go to her school!! She was so excited about it and had the best day!!! After wards they went to lunch with Peyton and I!!!

This was at a Daddy-Daughter Dance sponsored by the girl scouts which was held at the Middle School!! Jenna had a great time and really good one-on-one with her dad!

Presidents Day

So, today I had to go to school and felt like I was the only one without a day off since both kids were in bed when I left!! Tomorrow is my day off- CRAZY!!

My mom waited till I got home and then we all went sledding!! Mary and her boys went with us and we had such a great time!! We took David as well- who would not sled down the hill!!

I am so thankful to live in this country and the many privileges that we do!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

I love holidays!! I love all the fun things that come with it!! I have always love entertaining, I love parties, celebrations of all kinds, treats, and presents (both giving and receiving). So I also a fan of Valentines!! Since there is no significant other- I go out of my way for my two main squeezes!!! They are definitely spoiled- I know!!!

We spent actually spent the whole weekend together and made it all special!!!

Saturday Night I took the kids out! We went to Toys R Us where they each chose a toy!
and then out to Dinner at Chic-fil-a!! Our Favorite!!!
Then on actual Valentines Day- I made a special dinner for the whole family!! It was a great weekend!!!!

I like to be the HOMEMAKER every once in awhile- since I don't feel like I get to do that role as often as I want to!!!!!!!!!!!

The Kid's Valentine's Parties!

Jenna's party was today and I was able to go in and do a game with the class! I did a Bingo game using their site words. It was a huge success! Jenna loves Kindergarten, has a great teacher, and a few really good friends!! Cassie is in the first picture with her, and Emily in the pic above.

Peyton's party was on Wednesday, he did not have school today. He loves preschool! I am really happy with the school and his teachers!! He also has good friends, only a couple will be going to the same school with him next year though!

I am thankful for:
1- My dad, that he was here to help and willing
2- for a working snow blower
3- for a neighbor that with their plow helped
4- for food in the fridge
5- for a day off!!

Update!

I love blogging and I love reading everyone's blogs!

I love those that update there blog often, and I love pictures!!!

Well, I haven't been able to do either!!! No Time!!! No Pictures!!

So here is an update:
I am now back at school (actually right now, I am in class)
I love my professors, my classes, and the other students! It is going so well just really busy!! Already projects and papers due! I am now in the middle of my major so all the classes are related and a lot of fun!!!

The whole family has been sick!! Jenna and I have been doing the best!!! We are holding are own and hoping not to get what the others have!! My parents are on antibiotics and just starting to feel better! It is poor Peyton who has had a rough week with croupe and his asthma. He has not gone to school all week and still is really weak. I think I have seen improvement today!! The hard part is when he doesn't sleep either do I!! When he can't go to church, either can I. And that is what motherhood is all about!!
