This year Jenna wanted to play softball again!
She loves it and is getting pretty good at it!!

Jenna's last game was tonight and she told me she can't wait to play again next year!!!

Peyton played t-ball and enjoys it, but has trouble running because of his asthma.
He is trying to decide if he will continue it next year!

Peyton turns 6!!

Peyton was my Father's Day Baby!!  He is such a blessing to our family! He is funny, loving, smart, and very sweet!!  I cannot believe he is already 6 years old!!

With all our crazy schedules we held a family party on Sunday.
When you think of a family party you probably think small- and just immediate family!
Well, we have a pretty big family and so many could not be there!!!!

Because of the crazy weather the party was held inside, including the pinata!!
The pinata was Peyton's only request for his birthday!!

It was a great day and a great party!
We feel so blessed to have so much family close by and friends that feel like family!!

Happy Birthday Peyton!!

Ohio Weather!

The last two days it has been forcasted to  be 50% chance Thunder Storms, but we have had clear skies and beautiful weather.  Then during Peyton's Party the thunderstorms hit!  This is what the front yard looked like!
During the storm my dad went to the ditch that runs in front of our property and found that the drain was clogged by a bag of garbage!  He had to not only pull it out but shovel out the garbage to drain the front yard!!!  It is a mess right now!!!!
Always good to have a fun story!!!!!

Meet my Dad

 My DAD:
David P. Jentzsch Jr.
his favorite color is Blue, and he will not wear Pink!
He has 3 younger sisters!
He has been married for 32 1/2 years!
He was in the Navy for 25 years
and he has 4 daughters

He has his MBA
Right now he is a General Manager of two companies!
He has 7 grandkids, 4 girls and 3 boys!
They call him Skipper

My Dad is a hard worker- at work, at home, and at Church!
He is a counselor in the Bishopric
His testimony never waivers!
He likes to run and lift weights!
He loves the outdoors: camping, fishing, and hunting!
He hunts Buffalo every other year!

He is a morning person- way to happy in the morning!

My Dad is funny: even if he is the only one laughing!
He loves to tease!
He is so sweet and gentle, even though he does not want anyone to know!
I go running with him in the morning and his nick name is Old and Fat, mine is Skin and Bones!

My Dad loves his Heavenly Father, his wife, his daughters, sons-in-laws, and his grandkids!
He is a wonderful Father and a great example to me when it comes to how a husband and father should be.  He is also a great example of a Righteous Priesthood holder!
I hope to someday marry someone just like him!
Thank you Dad for your love and your example!!!!!!
I Love You!

This picture is taken tonight around 10 pm after Peyton had gone to bed.  This is my Dad.  He leaves early in the morning for a trip and he is concerned about putting Peyton's toy together.
He never complains.  He just does.
Really, I think I want to be just like my dad!!!

A New Summer Tradition

So I have wanted to share some of my favorite old movies with my children.  Recently I was talking to someone about my family tradition we had when I was growing up that every Sunday night was popcorn and ice cream and we watched the Wonderful World of Disney!!  I loved those memories and want to build ones like that with my children!  So I decided with the children that Sunday Nights are going to be old movie night! Last Sunday I pulled out the King and I and we ate popcorn and watched it together as a famiy!!
Jenna loved it and is looking forward to this Sunday!  Peyton was disappointed because the King and I did not have bad guys!  He said the movie was boring!  So how do you think he will like Pollyanna, the Music Man, the Court Jester, or some of Cary Grants best?  I think I may throw in Newsies, Oklahoma, and maybe Willow!!  There are just too many favorites and not enough Sundays!!!
What is your favorite Old Movie?
