Sledding

Becky and the kids came into town because they wanted to play in the snow! So we did! Friday it was great weather, it got up to like 34 degrees- we actually got a little hot!

The kids loved it! They sled like they were pros! Including 2 yr. old Morgan who wanted to go by himself!

Human Relation 016

So if any of you are interested in how school is going it is Great! I am really enjoying my classes! Actually all of my classes are giving me info that I can use today! One of my classes is Human Relations which is a Psychology class and it is really interesting! Right now we are reading about Personalities, and my Professor asked us to take a personality test. So I went online and took the test and these are my results: (only if you are interested, I couldn't believe what it said and how right on it was as scary as it is)

If you want to take test, it is a sample of the myers-briggs personality test. The link is:

Peyton's bad haircut

Peyton has needed a haircut and it has been talked about. I was just going to have Michael do it. Saturday morning My mom was cutting my dad's hair and said maybe we should cut Peyton's. I aggreed that it did need to get done. I jumped in the shower. Peyton came walking in to show me his hair cut. It was short, I thought well, not great but...

Well, then I looked at it closer and poor Peyton! He got his first bad haircut! My mom had only ever done my dad's and was shocked to see how short she was cutting his hair, as well as the clippers they have don't work that great! So phase 2- I trimmed it up and tried to even it out a little bit.

We get to Michaels house (the kids were spending the day with him) and he laughed at the crazy and really short haircut! When Peyton got home I heard there was a phase 3- where michael just shaved his head!

Peyton said that night, "Now everyone's cut my hair today!!" Luckily his hair will grow and he can wear a hat!

Playing Tricks

My Peyton has been really funny lately. The other morning Jenna walks in to the bathroom announcing that her brother played a trick on her when he siad there was a bandaid in her hair and their wasn't!! He came walking in laughing saying, Yea mom I got her good!! I said, "Peyton, that wasn't funny!" Then he replied, "Oh, yes mom it was!"

So they have been trying to play little tricks on each other the last few days! It has been really cute! I got home from church yesterday later than everyone else and there were puddles of water trailing from the Laundry room to the Kitchen. I stepped on something really cold! Not too surprized that it could be snow since the crazy amount of snow we have recieved. Well, the kids announced that thier snowman had come into the house while they were at church!!! And then they started laughing. I learned later that it was a trick on me!!! They had put ice cubes on the floor to make me believe that our snowman came alive when we were gone!! They are so funny, my two!!!

Our Snow Storm

I am not fond of winter time, the cold and/or the snow. But, this weekend I decided I am thankful for the snow! It is white, clean, and beautiful. It means new beginnings and a clean start! It kept me home with my family so I could enjoy cuddling and playing with my kids and bonding with my parents. I also got a lot of work done around the house today! Thank you Snow!!

Hope and the New Year!

I am so thankful for 2008 and and excited for 2009!

I am ready for what awaits, "Bring it on!!" Todays lesson in RS was on hope! It was a wonderful lesson, I reflected on my goals and hopes for the new year. I made my list and put them on the side for my own reminder and then maybe you can also encourage me along the way!
I have knowledge that my Heavenly Father loves me. I trust him and know that he wants good things for me, too. So my hope is that this year brings me closer to where my Heavenly Father wants me to be. I am excited and nervous about school, which starts Jan. 13th!! Good things are Happening, and I am ready to move forward with hope for what is in my future!!! Bring it On!!!
