Zions Camp

Zions Camp was Awesome!!!
The theme was: "Our side of Heaven"
Elder and Sister Groberg came and spoke to us
The picture above I was with Kelly and Angel. We drove and roomed together!

Above is the Kirtland Temple where on Sunday we had sacrament meeting and a testimony meeting. Sitting for three hours on those benches was tough. But, that is what got me up to bear my testimony!
Below I am with Natasha, Tanner, Kiah, and Zach!!
Natasha is in my ward the others are from Canton!! A cool group of young kids!!

I have ended up journaling these photos backwards! This is from Saturday where I did my service project. There were several different choices. We helped another church with moving items, cleaning, sorting, and organizing household items and clothing for people in need! It was a wonderful experience!!

Here I am with Laura and Emily two good friends from the Singles Branch

The first night to welcome us and the Grobergs we had a polynesian night! It was so much fun! Here were 3 dancers! What fun!!!

GO CAVS!!

I got the rare opportunity to go to last nights Playoff game
in Cleveland. The Cavs vs. the Orlando Magics!
We got free towels to wave and free red shirts!!! It was fun!!

What a game!! The first half Cleveland dominated and then in the second half Orlando stepped up their game and ended up winning by ONE!! I almost cried!!! It was a fun game to watch and so much fun to be there and apart of it!! Right before half-time MO made an amazing shot from across the court!!! And of course Lebron was AWESOME!!!!

I know all those who know me know I am not a huge sports fan!
I would have to say basketball would be my favorite to watch and play!
But, it is always fun to go to a game and even better to go to a good game!!
I love the excitement, the noise, the atmosphere, and the FOOD!!
It is even better when the opportunity rises and I get to go on a DATE!!!

My friend Paul who is in my ward invited me! We had a great time!! And no, he did not kill anyone to get the tickets!!! (My dad asked that question)
He just graduated from University of Akron and happens to be moving next Monday and so his old boss gave him tickets as a going away present!! He took a chance and another friend bailed so he decided to take me!!! Well, I had the best time!!! I think he had fun as well!!!

MY MOTHERS DAY GIFT

I am so thankful to be a mom!! And truly feel that my two kids are each a gift!
Mother's Day has felt differently to me since my divorce. I am learning not to have expectations and to enjoy the opportunity I have to be a mom, it is what I have always wanted.
This year the kids each got me a webkinz they picked out and a cute card. They were so excited, actually they were so excited that they could not wait till Sunday and gave it to me on Saturday morning at 7am!!

This was my gift to myself!! After taking my last final and since I had no kids I went and got a pedicure!! It was a fun treat!!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day!!

Preschool Picnic

Preschool is now officially over!! There was a great end of the year picnic hosted by the preschool and celebrated the kids who were moving on to Kindergarten!! Luckily we will still be part of the preschool next year with Peyton!!

Jenna is having a harder time than I thought adjusting to no school especially since today I started back to school. She informed me that she was also going to be in school today. I esplained that school is over for the summer. When she said, "Oh No, Mom, you are wrong!" She talked my mom into playing school with her and she has set it up exactly how TLC does it with no exceptions!! She even wants to invite her friends!! She is a character and does love to learn!

Preschool Graduation

Well, I can not believe that my little girl is already graduating from Preschool and is moving on to Kindergarten!! I still picture her as that precious bald baby that she was not to long ago. Preschool Graduation was on Wednesday and yet with a series of unfortunate events I was unaware and missed it!!!!!!!! Yes, I am telling the truth!! The only saving grace is that I got a few pictures of it from another mom. Today there was a end of the year school Picnic that I did get told about and I will post some picture of that later!!

I am so proud of Jenna! She is excited for summer and then for Kindergarten!! She has done really well in Preschool and is sad to say goodbye to her teacher and all the friends she made their. Only one boy- Dennison (who she thinks is her true love) will be at her school next year!!!

Congratulations Jenna!!!

Trike-a-thon

TLC Preschool held a trike-a-thon to help sponsor St. Judes Hospital. My kids both raised some money and then went out there and rode their bikes. Luckily the family that pledged money did a flat donation because I can not tell you how many laps they did!! Jenna just rode her bike all around (not in any real lap form) and I had to walk around with Peyton pushing his bike. I remember doing 3 laps with Peyton but there could have been more! It was fun, for a good cause and pretty good weather!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Today in church there was the best talk given on Mother's! Sarah, started her talk with a story of three boys who had just lost their mom and before she died she gave them each a letter that was only for them! Each letter was how much she loved them and why but each letter started off by expressing that they were her favorite!

I love that story especially being a mother now I love each of my children so much and each one is my favorite for different reasons!! As well as growing up there has always been a joke of who is mom's favorite, and we each say we are!!!

Mom's are wonderful! I am so grateful for my mother and all she sacrifices for me and my children. As well as I am so thankful to have the blessing to be a Mom!! I love all that I learn from it, and all I gain from it!! "Mom" is a word that sometimes I grow tired of especially when it is used so often each day, yet I know how wonderful the word "Mom" is!!!!!!

Spring Time

I enjoy Spring time! With the blossoming flowers, the warmer weather, being outside more, and I even enjoy the rain! I have not been able to do as much as I want to due to being in school!! Last week I took the kids to the Zoo, we mowed the lawn with Laura's help, and have played outside more! The pond in my parents backyard has two frogs that call it home! The kids love them and we have named them Tad and Lily!

One Semester done....

I am finished with my first semester of school!! Took my last final on friday and hopefully did well. I survived the semester with flying colors thanks to my mom, Laura, Mike, and great friends!!

Here are a couple pics of projects from some of my classes. I did a speech in Human Relations on Date Rape I had a partner who talked on Domestic Violence. I had to make a portfolio for my education class as well as I did a project for the age of Kindergarten. It was perfect because Jenna can really use it. It is a Word book. I have pictures with the word next to it. It is Velcroed on so I can move it around and we can even play games with it.

This semester has been a great one! I am taking one summer class and thankfully got the grant money for it!! And then it will be busy again in the fall with a really full load. Thanks for everyones support, help, and encouragement! I will have a two month break this summer where I will get to socialize a little bit!!!
