Peyton's Animal Adventure
I signed Peyton up for an after school program where he got to learn all about animals with lots of hands on experience. He loved it and attended without Jenna! He loved it and had some great experiences!
All the animals were babies or young animals. Here are twin female goats. I cannot remember their names! They were really cute!
He got to see and pet a chinchilla!
I think the scorpian was a favorite- Ohhh gross!
The tortises were very lively. And they are tortises and not turtles because they don't swim!
They were considered young being only 10 and 12 years old. The younger one was the bigger one which Peyton thought was really cool!
This is a ring necked dove!
Peyton went for the last 5 weeks! I of course did not always remember my camera! He also saw snakes, an alligator, frogs, a trantula, a dog, a rabbit and more! Peyton even wore a snake around his neck! He was so happy to be with the animals! Many of them I could do with out. I was glad Peyton participated! And my little boy is sure growing up!
Nana's and Skippers New Playground...
We have been so excited about the new Play/Swing set my parents got for the backyard! With the help of Matt and Rees it was built mainly in a day! The kids have many names for it such as their tree house or the play set, but more recently have called it their playground! It has been nice on every sunny day we get the kids get to be outside where I can see them and have a good time!
This is the view from the house. It is like having a tree house and a playground right in the backyard!

Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!!
Happy Mother's Day!
Yesterday we had our Stake Enrichment yesterday with great food, classes, friends, and a wonderful spirit!
The theme was Remember, Preserve, and Press Forward.
I learned about story telling and how we can and should tell our children stories about ourselves, our families, and our ancestors. I may blog some of my stories or memories.
I learned about Mindfullness. Being mindful about the present and not ransoming it away for thoughts of the future. Future planning and daydreaming can cause unreal expectations and anxiety. Past thinking can create depression and we need to be careful about living in the past.
Also learned 10 Habits of Happy Women they include:
1- Understanding your value as a Woman, 2- Maintiaing Key Friendships, 3- Value and Practice Faith, 4- Say no to Competition, 5- Create Healthier Relationships with Money, 6- Make Time for Solitude, 7- Give and Get love in Healthy Ways, 8- Find Ways to Live Simply, 9- Let go of Fear, 10- Hope is a decision- so Make it!
(10 Habits of Happy Mothers by Dr. Meg Meeker)
It was a great day and then me and the kids went to dinner to celebrate the end of the semester and Mother's Day!! I am so thankful to be a mother especially to two wonderful kids!!!
And the flowers I got are from my wonderful Dad!!! My parents are such great examples to me!!! I am thankful for my Parents and for my sisters- they are wonderful mothers and great examples to me!!
