Girl Scouts- Lock in

Jenna has been a Daisy Scout for only 4 months now and she just loves it!! She is so excited when she comes home with all that she is learning, what they make, and all the friends she is meeting. This last weekend it was just the two of us. Peyton went with my Mom to Becky's house. Girl Scouts were having a "Lock in" at a Fitness Facility nearby. I had no idea what it all meant, but thought it might be fun for us both to go- something to do together. It was a blast!!! There were not to many girls there from her troop- just 3! And where the older girls were just dropped off- the younger girls the mom's came. Jenna keeps telling me how much fun she had! I was glad I went and glad she got to participate. This kind of stuff is right up her alley. They divided all the girls up and we rotated stations. Most were staying all night. We left at 10pm. I had not been feeling all that great, but was glad I took Jenna and I did pretty good.

Her are her friends ready to swim! Before the girls went swimming they did a canoe lesson- taught safety and allowed the girls to canoe around the pool. Then there was a seperate pool which was warmer and they free swam for a little while!!

Then Jenna got to try Rock Climbing!! She is very adventurous and I think I was more nervous than she was!!! Next time I want to try!! And we better take Peyton!

She did really well!! Almost making it to the top!!

Her and Emily!!!

They played games in the gym! Jenna had the best time and never wanted to leave!!

What a fun night!!! I am glad she is part of girl scouts! I really think this will be a positive thing in her life giving her an extra confidence and good life skills. Also some really good friends!!

Everyone needs their own Spot!

So the kids now have their own rooms! We have moved the office down stairs to the living room and made it a Den. Jenna has moved into the old office. It has been crazy around here moving everything around, throwing things out, giving things away, and a lot of organizing!! And I still have lots of items that need homes- mainly stamping stuff, a little bit of scrapbook items, some kids clothes and I am sure more. Talk to me if you are interested!!!! I think I may have to think about a garage sale this summer!!!

So the kids rooms are yet decorated- we at least got them moved!!
Jenna's room she wants decorated like a garden- flowers, bugs, and frogs. Her favorite colors are Pink and Green!! Peyton's room is going to be a jungle!! He loves animals and we were given a lot of material, a rug, and stuffed snakes and other stuff from a good friend!! Both rooms should be really cute when they are done!!! I am open to decorating suggestions!

Bowling!!

This year we all had different Spring Breaks!! Peyton was the last one to have spring break and not much happened all week except he did get quite a few play dates!! Last Friday my mom, Laura and I took the kids bowling and Jacob and Hyrum Allen came with!! It was a good time!!

I love how kids bowl!!
They all did a great job and even though my mom won and I came in second we did not win by much!! Peyton was the next highest and was only a few points lower than I!! Of course by telling you this it does not mean they were really good, only I wasn't very good!!!

We had a great time!! Now we are trying to get back into routine!! I only have 3 weeks left of classes and am so ready for Summer!!!

Easter Sunday

This year the weather outside was beautiful and at this time around 70- 75 degrees!! The Easter Bunny was at our house and decided to hide the baskets outside rather than inside where it was crazy!!! When Uncle Matt and Aunt Laura pulled up and were walking up to the house they spotted bunny poop (aka sugar babies)!!!! We knew then the Easter Bunny had been here!! And the kids went looking for their baskets!!

The boys started tracking the Bunny by locating the "poop"! They were more involved with that then their baskets!!! The above picture is Skipper with David and Morgan!

It did not take the kids long to figure out it was candy!! Yummy!

The kids finally started looking for their baskets!!

The Easter Bunny was sure nice this year!!!

My mom made twirly skirts for all the girls!! (Addie's matches Jenna's)
And then Bonnie made matching hair bows for the girls- this one you can see:

Below is us surviving Conference!! It was wonderful!! And the kids were good!

On Crayola's website you can make coloring pages out of pictures!! I did a bunch as a surprise for the kids and they loved them!! They are cute colored!!!

After the morning session of conference we celebrated Morgan's 4th Birthday!!! We also sang to Matt for his birthday was this week as well!!!! It was a wonderful Easter!!!

This was just Saturday....

This weekend Becky and the kids came up and we had a really fun time! There was an itinerary and everything!! We started Saturday morning with coloring eggs! There is a lot of Pictures and more to come!! This is just Saturday!!! It was a perfect weekend!!
Coloring Eggs was so much fun and to do with cousins was even better!!! The kids had a blast- even if you can not tell by the expression on Peyton's face!!!!

The kids are awaiting the easter egg hunt and they can barely stand it. We still had the first session of conference to watch!!!!

Easter Egg Hunts are my favorite!! I love the whole thing even filling the eggs, hiding the eggs, and watching the children find them!!! And then they open them to these totally fantastic treats and their expressions are priceless!!!!

I love how the kids passed eggs to get to others!!!

Morgan

David

This was the best Easter Ever!!!!!!!!!! And that is a direct quote from the kids!! It was perfect, the kids had so much fun together and that evening we got a babysitter so when the men were at the Priesthood Session the girls got to go Shopping!!!!!!!!
