My Memorable Jacob

You know how in life there are certain people placed in your life that you wonder if they are on this world just for you. Jacob is that person for me. For those that don't Jacob here is the story:

I moved back to Ohio 10 years ago looking for healing and happiness. I got a job in Canton working at a small scrapbook store and through my boss I met Jacob. Jake's mom was looking for a part time babysitter for her two boys and I was looking for another job.
I came over to the house to meet the boys- Sam was bouncing around and then I was taken over to a giant bed where I was introduced to Jacob. I was immediately in love with Jacob as he met me with a giant grin!!
That was the just the beginning. We have shared the last 10 years together and been through it all together. Each others life, the big and small moments, secrets, laughter, and tears.

He has been a huge blessing in my life, and has helped me along my path of healing and happiness. After my divorce I continued working for the family and this time the state payed me. It was only kind of a job. But this job has been a huge help to a single mom that did not want to work.

Recently I was able to spend two straight days with him. I would peek over his bed and he was wide awake which is not always the case. So I asked if he wanted company and climbed in the bed with him. We talked and played and had a few moments where we just were... together.

I will always remember him that way. Those last moments I had with him. I know he was trying to say something to me. I felt it.

I would peek over his bed and this is usually how I would find him. Peaceful and Sweet. I took these pictures in April. Just Because.
Here are pics of his room, my favorite place in their beautiful home.

He died peacefully at his home with his parents on Monday (Memorial Day).

I will miss you Jacob. And will never forget you.
